Work Forecast Plan for the Weeks of September 8 to September 18, 2020

Details of Work Performed:
  • Continuation of sewer main crossing is planned for:
    • September 8-11 and September 14 between 40th and 39th Avenue
    • September 8-9 between 46th and 45th Avenue
    • September 8-9 between 42nd and 41st Avenue
    • September 8-11 and September 14-18 between 46th to 48th Avenue 
  • Continuation of waterline work is planned for:
    • September 8-11 and September 14-18 between 37th Avenue and Sunset Boulevard
    • September 8-11 and September 14-18 between 39th and 38th Avenue
    • September 10-11 and 14-18 between 46th and 45th Avenue 
    • September 12 and September 14-18 between 45th and 44th Avenue
    • September 8-12 and September 14-18 between 44th and 43rd Avenue
  • Continuation of sidewalk curb ramp work is planned for:
    • September 8-10 at southeast corner of 40th Avenue
    • September 8-10 at southeast corner of 43rd Avenue
  • Electrical conduit work for traffic signal, streetlights, and etc. is planned for:
    • September 8 & 11 and September 14-16 between 40th and 37th Avenue
  • Track replacement work is planned for: 
    • Starting September 15 between 40th Avenue and Sunset Boulevard
  • Removal and/or installation of Muni overhead contact system (OCS) pole is planned for:
    • September 10-11 at 37th Avenue
    • September 8-11 between 38th and 37th Avenue 
    • September 8-11 and September 14 between 39th and 38th Avenue
    • September 10-11 and September 14 between 40th and 39th Avenue
  • Construction of replacement Muni overhead contact system (OCS) pole's foundation is planned for: 
    • September 14-15 and September 18 between 46th and 45th Avenue
    • September 14-18 between 45th and 44th Avenue 
    • September 15-18 between 44th and 43rd Avenue
    • September 15-18 between 43rd to 42nd Avenue
  • Removal of existing Muni overhead contact system (OCS) is planned for:
    • September 8 at 46th Avenue and Vicente Street
    • September 8-9 at 47th Avenue and Wawona Street
    • September 9 at 46th Avenue and Wawona Street
    • September 10-11 and September 14-15 between 46th and 48th Avenue on Taraval Street
What to Expect:

Excavation requires jackhammering of the pavement. Dust control measures will be in place to prevent dust kick up from the work.

Heavy vibrations from the shoring and sheet piling work is expected for open trench work.
Time of Work:
  • Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m.; Saturday to Sunday 8:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m.
  • No work on Monday, September 7, 2020--Labor Day
Traffic Impacts:

Some parking will be temporarily restricted in construction zones and traffic lanes will be modified during active work.
