Van Ness Construction Forecast: July 3, 2017 - July 14, 2017

Those who travel in and through the area are advised to take alternate routes and plan for delays.

Monday, July 3: Traffic control maintenance and construction site preparation will be conducted on Van Ness between Lombard and Mission Streets.

Tuesday, July 4: There is no work scheduled for the holiday. Happy Fourth of July!

Wednesday, July 5: Traffic control maintenance and construction site preparation will be conducted on Van Ness between Lombard and Mission Streets.

Thursday, July 6: Traffic control maintenance and construction site preparation will be conducted on Van Ness between Lombard and Mission Streets. Additionally, existing roadway repair work will occur on the following blocks: Mission to Market, Geary to Post, Sutter to Bush, Pine to California, California to Sacramento, Sacremento to Clay, Pacific to Broadway and Filbert to Greenwich in order to improve the road surface. Noisy asphalt grinding and milling will be completed prior to 10:00 p.m. to minimize disruption for neighbors.

Between the hours of 8:00 p.m. Thursday and 6:00 a.m. Friday, crews will repair existing roadway conditions.

Traffic and Transit Advisory: Between the hours of 10:00 p.m. Thursday and 5:00 a.m. Friday, some traffic lanes may be closed for construction activity.

Friday, July 7: Traffic control maintenance and construction site preparation will be conducted on Van Ness between Lombard and Mission Streets.

Monday, July 10 to Friday July 14: Traffic control maintenance and construction site preparation will be conducted on Van Ness between Lombard and Mission Streets.
