Pistahan Parade: Saturday, August 12, 2023

Event Summary

The Filipino Community is sponsoring its 30th annual parade on Saturday, August 12, 2023. The parade will begin at 11:00AM from Civic Center Plaza and disband at Yerba Buena Gardens where the annual Pistahan Arts Festival will be celebrated on both Saturday and Sunday. Streets will be closed and Muni will reroute service in the area. Read below for more information.

These streets will be closed from 7 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.:

  • McAllister, between Larkin and Hyde
  • Fulton, between Larkin and Hyde
  • Grove, between Larkin and Hyde

These streets will be closed from 11 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.:

  • Market, between Hyde and 4th St
  • 4th St, between Market and Howard

Muni Service Changes

Muni will temporarily change service along the parade route, most routes will reroute on to Mission Street. Some routes will switchback--changing from inbound to outbound--before they get to Market Street.
