Fariba Mahmoudi, Engineering Division Deputy at CP&C, is an experienced Engineer with over 32 years of professional experience in capital programs, design, analysis, development and implementation of complex engineering projects and systems, of which, over 25 years have been specifically devoted to work in transit.
Ms. Mahmoudi joined the SFMTA in April 1994 and has progressively worked as Engineer, Program Manager and the Division Deputy Director at CP&C. She has extensive experience in managing large groups of engineers and project managers in transportation industry .
Ms. Mahmoudi has managed and oversaw the development and implementation of complex Engineering projects/programs. She has many years of experience in working with public, private agencies, contractors and consultants as well as funding agencies on transportation projects.
Ms. Mahmoudi has BS in Civil Engineering and earned MS degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering curriculum from UC Berkeley in 1992 and continued with PhD studies (ABD) in Project Management and Construction.
