Thank you to everyone who attended last week’s Potrero Yard Virtual Community Meeting. This was the first chance for community members and the Potrero Yard Neighborhood Working Group to respond directly to questions from the proposing developer teams.

You can view the meeting recording online to listen to community responses on themes of community involvement, housing, project concerns and benefits.

This event is part of a larger effort by the Potrero team for transparency and openness in the project delivery process. Providing an opportunity for community feedback during a competitive procurement allows public sentiment to be incorporated into developer proposals. Though these types of events are generally new for City projects, we hope that we’re setting a precedent for future projects.

For those who were not able to attend last week’s event, you still have a chance to give your input. Take our short survey to provide your comments to the proposing developer teams. Surveys are available in English, Spanish, Chinese and Filipino. The surveys will be available until July 27. Links to these surveys are also on the main project page: SFMTA.com/PotreroYard.
