Next Steps: Great Highway Joint Commission Meeting June 10, 2021
On June 10, 2021, the SFMTA Board of Directors and Rec and Park Department Commission will hold a joint meeting to hear updates on the Great Highway, including development of a possible pilot project along the Great Highway south of Lincoln Boulevard. This will be an opportunity to public input on the possible pilot project.
The item on the agenda is an informational item and will serve as the kickoff for a robust, multilingual outreach and engagement process. Public input will help shape the possible pilot project and inform a potential recommendation for consideration by the Board of Supervisors.
The Rec and Park/SFMTA pilot proposal is based on the findings of the San Francisco County Transportation Commission's District 4 Mobility Study. Learn about the District 4 Mobility Study findings and the suggested alternatives for the future of the Great Highway.
