One Week Left to Provide Your Feedback for the South Van Ness Avenue Quick-Build Project Proposal

One Week Left to Provide Your Feedback

Until Wednesday, October 27 at 11:30 p.m., the South Van Ness Avenue Quick-Build Project’s Combined Virtual Open House and Engineering Public Hearing will remain open to provide information about the project proposal and collect public feedback about proposed traffic safety improvements on South Van Ness Avenue from 14th Street to Cesar Chavez.

The interactive, online event can be accessed at SFMTA.com/SVNOpenHouse.

During the event, you will be able to learn more about the project, such as the schedule, project background, and proposed changes. You are invited to ask questions, leave public comments about the project, and provide feedback through a survey. Project staff will respond to questions and comments received and the responses will be posted back to the SFMTA project page the following week. Following October 27, comments received will be shared with the City Traffic Engineer to determine the project's next steps.

Office Hours

SFMTA project team staff will be hosting two remaining online office hours sessions to discuss the project proposal with you in detail and provide opportunities for you to ask questions. Online office hours will be available via Microsoft Teams and by phone.

Online office hours will be held at the following times:

  • Wednesday, October 20: 2pm to 3:30pm
  • Monday, October 25: 9:30am to 11am

Online office hours will be also be available by phone. Instructions for how to join the office hours will be posted to the Combined Open House and Public Hearing webpage prior to each session.

Thank you for your feedback so far!

SFMTA staff held two in-person tabling events and a virtual office hours session last week to gather community feedback. We appreciated hearing from everyone who stopped by to ask questions and provide comments so far, and we look forward to hearing from more of you over the next week.
