FUNDING:

Work related to the America’s Cup People Plan is slated to be partly funded by the America’s Cup Organizing Committee, based on cost estimates submitted by the City and its regional partners as part of the People Plan.  Additional funding will likely come from local and regional sources and revenues generated by the Events themselves.

OUR PARTNERS:

The SFMTA has worked closely with the Office of Economic and Workforce Development (OEWD), which serves as the lead agency representing the City for AC34, and with the Port of San Francisco and the San Francisco Planning Department.  As the principal author of the People Plan, the SFMTA also coordinated input and content from all major regional transportation providers, including BART, Caltrans, MTC, Caltrain, Golden Gate Transit, AC Transit, WETA and the SFCTA.

The SFMTA is also working closely with 511 and the America’s Cup Event Authority on communicating transportation choices for the events.
