Golden Gate Bridge (~35 minutes)

Board 38 Rapid Bus Stop at the Northeast Corner of Geary and Stockton Streets and get off at Park Presidio Ave. You will ride for about 22 minutes.

Cross the street eastward to wait at the 19th Avenue Bus Stop, which is on the northeast side of Park Presidio Avenue.

Board the 28 Bus from the 19th Avenue Stop and take it to the Golden Gate Bridge Parking Lot. You will ride the bus for about 6 minutes.

You have arrived at Golden Gate Bridge!

To get back to Union Square, follow these instructions in reverse.
Pier 39, Fisherman’s Wharf (~27 minutes)

Walk 2 blocks south on Stockton Street to get to Market Street.

Cross Market Street to get to get to the F Market Streetcar (Market St & 4th) Stop, which is located on an island in the middle of the street on the southeast side of Market Street.

Board F Market Streetcar and take it to Embarcadero at Stockton Street. You will ride for about 22 minutes.

To arrive at Pier 39, get off at Embarcadero at Stockton Street. Pier 39 will be directly across the street.

If you wish to arrive at the heart of Fisherman’s Wharf, ride two more stops and get off at Jefferson and Taylor Streets.

To get back to Union Square, follow these instructions in reverse.
Ghirardelli Square and Aquatic Park (~24 minutes)

Walk one block west on Geary Street to the intersection of Geary & Powell Streets.

Cross Geary Street to arrive at the Powell/Hyde Cable Car Stop on the southwest corner of Powell and Geary Streets.

Board the Powell/Hyde Cable Car Line (which features a dark brown and maroon sign) and take it to the end of the line at Beach and Larkin Streets. You will ride for about 20 minutes.

Get off the cable car and you have arrived at Aquatic Park. Walk one block west to Beach and Larkin Streets to arrive at Ghirardelli Square.

To get back to Union Square, follow these instructions in reverse.
The Presidio (~40 minutes)

Cross Stockton Street to the 38 Rapid Bus Stop at the northeast corner of Geary and Stockton Streets.

Board the 38 Rapid Bus and take it to Presidio Avenue. You will ride for about 13 minutes.

Get off the bus and walk one block east to cross to the northeast side of Presidio Avenue where 43 Masonic Stop is located.

Board the 43 Masonic Bus and take it to Presidio Transit Center. You will ride for about 10 minutes.

You have arrived at the main post of the Presidio.

The Ferry Building (~15 minutes)

Walk 2 blocks south on Stockton Street to get to Market Street.

Board F Market Streetcar and take it to Embarcadero and Ferry Building. You will ride for about 10 minutes.

Lombard Street (~18 minutes)

Walk one block west on Geary Street to the intersection of Geary & Powell Streets.

Cross Geary Street to arrive at the Powell/Hyde Cable Car Stop on the southwest corner of Powell and Geary Streets.

Board the Powell/Hyde Cable Car Line (which features a dark brown and maroon sign) and take it to Hyde and Lombard Streets. You will ride for about 16 minutes.

Lombard Street will be directly in front of you. Walk 3 blocks eastward to explore North Beach.
