Please be advised that as part of the July 4, 2026 Independence Day celebration, fireworks will be launched from the Golden Gate Bridge. The show is scheduled for 9:30pm to 9:45pm.
Viewing locations will include Crissy Field, the Marina Green and Pier 39/Northern Embarcadero. This event will also require the closure of the Golden Gate Bridge to traffic from shortly before until shortly after the fireworks show. Bridge closure duration may change based on operational needs. As the show progresses, Parking Control may close City streets to vehicular access based upon crowds.
A temporary taxi stand to serve the event will be located on the west side of Baker Street between Beach Street and Bay Street (3300 & 3400 blocks) from 6:00pm to Midnight on July 4.
To access the taxi stand, please use Broderick Street from Francisco, then west on Beach and south on Baker.
If streets are closed, Parking Control Officers will allow access to the taxi stand from Broderick.
