Muni Service Adjustment
Starting on Monday, September 28, 2026, the 37 Corbett route resumes regular service. This restores 30-foot bus service and its original inbound route. This vehicle change allows the 37 Corbett to serve all stops inbound through Buena Vista.
The 30-foot bus fleet underwent thorough safety inspections. This follows a vehicle issue identified in June 2026. Reinforced, redesigned parts provided by the manufacturer are installed on the entire fleet. We also implemented an accelerated inspection every 2,000 miles, about once a month. This aims to ensure the fleet is in peak condition for service.
The return of 30-foot buses restores more direct Muni access for riders in the Buena Vista area. It also supports safe and reliable service, which remains our top priority.
