Taxi Upfront Fare Pilot: 2024-Q3 & Q4 Report

Dear Taxi Industry Members,

Please find the final Taxi Upfront Fare Pilot report posted here. This report contains a summary of the first two years of Pilot data and detailed analysis of Q3 and Q4 of 2024. The SFMTA experienced challenges with the data provided by the taxi industry, which delayed this report. As you know, the SFMTA Board approved making this program permanent at their May 20th meeting, but in the interest of transparency we have posted the final Pilot report.

We're pleased that during the first two years of the Pilot, over half a million Pilot trips were provided by 969 drivers, bringing in over $9.6M in fare revenue.
