TO: San Francisco Taxi Drivers
Starting on Monday night, April 27 and continuing intermittently until June 19, 2026, there will be latenight work blocking the taxi entrance ramp starting at 1:30am. Drivers will be informed of the early closure same-day by handouts or by SFO Taxi Text Alerts. On nights when work is happening, last VQ call will happen at 12:40am, and shorts will be manually tracked, returning direct to the T1 stand.
If you are leaving the airport as a Short after 11:30pm on a night when work is happening, you must tell the stand dispatcher before you leave, so you can be manually tracked. If you return to SFO after 1:30am, do not enter the lot. Go directly to the T1 taxi stand where you will be manually verified as a short. If you arrive as a Short before 1:30am, go directly to the lot like normal.
