TO: San Francisco Taxi Drivers
On the morning of Wednesday June 10, 2026, the TaxiVQ opening time will change from 5:00am to 6:00am, and will continue opening at 6am moving forward. This is based on taxi driver requests to open the queue later. The first call will still go out at 6:45am, same as today.
All users will need to update their app before adding yourself to the waitlist on Wednesday, June 10, 2026. You can update the app any time after 4am on Wednesday, June 10, 2026. After logging in, you will see a pop-up telling you to update the app. Tap the “update” button and you will be taken to the App store to update your app. You are encouraged to do this well before 6am so that the update is complete when the queue opens.
