Event Summary
The Golden State Warriors and Mascot Sports are producing the second annual Golden State 5K on Sunday, March 26. The event features a 5K run with a wellness festival consisting of pre- and post-race activities. The event will require some street closures and a reroute of the 15 Bayview Hunters Point Express Route during the morning hours of the race. Continue reading for details.
Street Closures
The following streets will be closed to traffic during the listed times:
From 8:30 to 10:45 a.m.:
- Terry A. Francois Boulevard between Warriors Way and Toni Stone crossing
- Mission Rock between 3rd Street and Terry A. Francois Boulevard
- Westbound travel lanes only
- Third Street between Mission Rock and King
- Northbound travel lanes only
- King between 2nd and 3rd
- Northbound travel lanes only
- Illinois between Mariposa and 18th
From 3 a.m. to 12 p.m. (noon):
- Warriors Way between Terry A. Francois and Bridgeview Way
From 3 a.m. to 2 p.m.:
- 16th Street between Terry A. Francois and Illinois
From 5 a.m. to 12 p.m. (noon):
- Terry A. Francois Boulevard between Mariposa Street and Warriors Way
