Event Summary

The Salesforce Dreamforce Conference will take place from October 13-16, 2025 at the Moscone Center. There will be street closures and traffic detours in the areas surrounding Union Square and in SoMa near the Moscone Center from Monday, October 13, to Sunday, October 19. Muni service will not require any reroutes for the duration of the event, though some minor delays may be possible in the area of the event.

Street Closures

The following streets will be closed on the specified dates and times below:

  • Fourth (4th) Street between Mission and Howard
    • Daily 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. from Monday, October 13, to Thursday, October 16
    • 4th Street will fully re-open overnight to regular traffic
  • Howard Street between 3rd and 4th
    • From 6 a.m. Sunday, October 5, to 10 p.m. Sunday, October 19
    • This block of Howard will be closed 24/7

Traffic Detours

Along with the aforementioned street closures, there will be several other traffic detours and restrictions during the event. 

  • Southbound travel restricted, 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., October 13-16
    • Stockton at Post
    • Stockton at O'Farrell
    • 4th at Mission
  • Local access only, 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., October 13-16
    • Ellis
      • from Stockton to Powell
      • from Powell to Cyril Magnin
    • Stockton
      • between Post and Geary
      • between O'Farrell and Market
    • Minna between 4th and 5th
    • 4th St.
      • between Market and Mission
      • between Howard to Folsom
    • Howard 4th to 5th
  • One-way traffic converted to two-way traffic for local access only, 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., October 13-16
    • Howard between 4th and 5th

Parking Garages

Parking garages in the area of Dreamforce will be fully open.

  • Union Square
    • Regular entrances on Post and Geary will be open
  • 5th & Mission
    • Regular entrances on 5th and Mission will be open
    • Minna exit will be closed Monday-Thursday, October 13-16, 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Taxi Zones

A Taxi Zone is established on the east side of 3rd St between Mission and Howard.

Muni Impacts

Muni will use regular routing and regular bus stops on Stockton and on 4th St. Muni should not be impacted by the daily closures of 4th St.
