Faces of Muni: Meet Belen Fillon

Share this:

Belen, a young woman with light skin and short brown hair, is pictured smiling on the street in front of a Muni trolley. She wears a black shirt and navy hoodie.

Meet Belen, a student at Access-SFUSD. Belen serves as an ADA observer, ensuring that our system is compliant with all the accessibility requirements outlined by federal law. She has been learning how to ride Muni independently to get where she needs to go.

Accessibility is vital for all people in San Francisco. We hope Belen’s story and other Faces of Muni spotlights will inspire important conversations around accessibility. As we continue this campaign, we encourage you to share why accessible transportation matters to you. You can share a comment on posts or tag us with #MuniMatters.
