Riding SF Access

Your “Pick Up Window” On the day of your trip, you should be ready to board the vehicle within a 20-minute “pick up window”, which is from 5 minutes before the promised pickup time to 15 minutes after the promised pickup time. A ride is considered late if it arrives outside this window. To check on the status of your ride, log-in to SF Access Online or call the Where’s My Ride phone number at 415.285.6945.

SF Access provides door-to-door service. The driver will provide a steadying arm to assist you from the door of your pickup location into the vehicle, and from the vehicle to the door of your destination. The driver will also assist you in boarding and exiting the vehicle by deploying the vehicle’s lift or ramp upon request. If you use a wheelchair, the driver will assist you to and from the door of your pick up and drop off destinations.

SF Access is a shared-ride service, which means other passengers may be riding in the vehicle with you. Please anticipate stops for other passengers to get on and off. A trip on paratransit takes approximately the same amount of time as a trip on a Muni bus, including getting to and from the bus and time for transfers.
