Please be advised that Eastbound Interstate 80 between 17th and 4th Streets will be closed starting Friday, April 17, 11:00 p.m. to Monday, April 20, 6:00 a.m.
Throughout the weekend, motorists will not be able to drive along this stretch of freeway (approximately 1.6 miles). The southbound and northbound U.S. 101 Bayshore Freeway connector ramps will be closed. Throughout the weekend closure, motorists' last EB I-80 Bayshore Freeway exit will be Vermont St.
Motorists who miss Vermont, will be directed to take 9th St. off ramp and redirected through Bryant St., to re-enter the freeway at the 5th St. on ramp. For additional information, please see the Caltrans website.
The closures include:
- The EB I-80 Bayshore Freeway between 17th and 4th streets.
- The SB U.S. 101 Bayshore Freeway to EB I-80 connector ramp.
