Summary
The most critical traffic and transit impacts of the project occurred when the Kearny Street pedestrian bridge was removed. That work is now complete.
Walter U. Lum will be closed for approximately four weeks beginning October 8 to accommodate sewer work. The SFMTA is developing and will publicly communicate traffic rerouting plans.
Restroom Availability
To help offset the temporary closure of bathroom facilities at Portsmouth Square, SFMTA opened the single-stall public restrooms on the plaza level of Rose Pak Station. The restrooms are available Monday through Saturday, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., for the two-year construction period.
