Введение к проекту (Project Introduction)
The Alemany Bikeway Project implemented bikeway improvements along Alemany Boulevard from Stoneybrook to Putnam, part of the Vision Zero High Injury Network. The previous bikeway was converted from one-way to two-way, giving more access to the Alemany Farmer's Market and connecting to the Protected Bikeway project ending at Putnam.
The project scope:
- Installed concrete K-rail barrier
- Demolished and realigned the concrete median island
- Upgraded existing one-way bikeway to two-way
- Repaired concrete parking strip
