Hayes Street will be closed every Friday and Saturday for the remainder of this month for the Hayes Valley Shared Spaces event. During the street closure, Muni will reroute the 6 Hayes/Parnassus Route around the area. This event is expected to continue throughout the remainder of 2026. Website updates will be posted monthly as needed.
Cole Valley Nights will be held on Thursday, April 16. The market will be held on Cole Street between Carl Street and Parnassus Avenue from 4 to 9 p.m. Muni will reroute the 37 Corbett and 43 Masonic routes around the area.
The Castro Night Market will take place on Friday, April 17, from 5 to 10 p.m. on 18th Street and within the 18th Street parking lot. The Night Market will feature local food vendors, merchants and live entertainment. There will be street closures and Muni will reroute around the event area.
The annual Cherry Blossom Parade will take place on Sunday, April 19, from 1 to 3 p.m. There will be street closures and Muni reroutes.
The Greek Heritage Parade will be on Sunday, April 19, in the Union Square area. The parade is a celebration of Greek heritage that honors centuries of history and sacrifice. The event will require street closures and the Powell Street cable car lines will be partially served by bus shuttles.
