A memorial event for the 2016 Pulse Nightclub shooting will take place in Jane Warner Plaza on Thursday, June 12, from 5 to 7 p.m.
Cole Valley Nights will be held on Thursday, June 12. The market will be held on Cole Street between Carl Street and Parnassus Avenue from 4 to 10 p.m. Muni will reroute the 37 Corbett and 43 Masonic routes around the area.
The annual North Beach Festival will take place on Saturday & Sunday, June 14 & 15, in the North Beach neighborhood. The event will be from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day, but transit and traffic impacts will be in effect all weekend.
The Annual San Francisco Juneteenth Parade and Celebration will take place on Saturday in the Fillmore. The celebration will be from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.; the parade will be will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Streets will be closed from 4 a.m. to 10 p.m. and the 22 Fillmore will reroute around the festival area.
Juneteenth is an annual event marking the abolition of slavery in the United States. A joint celebration of Juneteenth and Father's Day will be held at Gilman Park on Sunday, June 15, requiring street closures and a minor reroute of the 29 Sunset Route.
Larkin Street between Eddy and O'Farrell will be closed this Saturday, June 14, for a Shared Spaces event. Muni's 19 Polk will reroute around the event area. Larkin Shared Spaces provides outdoor space for a community festival with music, arts, and games. This event will reoccur every second Saturday of each month.
