Group of people hover over a piece of paper in a grassy field near a hill for a Summer Stride program.

Summer Stride programs can help you explore nature, the arts and much more.

Looking to make friends, learn skills or explore neighborhoods this summer? You can do it all at Summer Stride 2025.

This special summer series features free youth programs and adult programs at public libraries across the city. It started in June and runs all the way through Aug. 31.

The Summer Stride series includes:

  • Author talks, reading lists and book giveaways
  • STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) workshops
  • Nature activities
  • Art, music and dance workshops

We’re proud to partner with the San Francisco Public Library to help get the word out through our PSA program, social posts and more.

Today, we’ll highlight some of the exciting programs on the schedule for children, teens and adults. We’ll also share resources and travel tips that will help you take Muni to Summer Stride.
