There will be a presentation and discussion regarding the Human Rights Commission's "Creating an Equitable City for Everyone."

The second board meeting of the month will include a presentation and discussion regarding the Human Rights Commission’s “Creating an Equitable City for Everyone” framework.  The 2018 Legislative Program is also up for approval.  SFMTA’s Advertising Policy is set to revise the advertising standards to prohibit the advertisement of any material that constitutes commercial advertising of cannabis, cannabis products, cannabis businesses, or cannabis services. There will also be an update to the Vision Zero project.

Balboa Park Station Community Advisory Committee Meeting

The committee is responsible for advising a number of public agencies making improvements to the Balboa Park Station area.   The purpose is to provide input and community oversight on the prioritization and implementation of the transportation and other public improvements.

They monitor the progress of SFMTA, BART, the Transportation Authority, DPW, the San Francisco Planning Department and Caltrans in advancing plans and public improvement projects; track project development responsibilities and timelines, collaborate with transportation agencies.
