Join us! October 17: Bayview in Motion D10 Health Fest
The Bayview Community Pathway team is excited to join the 14th annual D10 Health Fest on Saturday, October 17, 11 a.m. - 4 p.m., at the Southeast Community Center.
This year’s theme of “Bayview in Motion” mirrors our work and community engagement to design the Bayview Community Pathway, an improved corridor that will make it easier and safer for people to bike, walk, roll, take transit, and move around the Bayview.
Our team is thrilled to present a project showcase at the event celebrating the stories of Bayview residents and looking ahead to next steps for bringing the Bayview Community Pathway to life.
- Zaccho Dance Theatre will stage a special performance of Picture Bayview Hunters Point at 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.
- A free print of “The Pathway,” a painting for the community by Nina Fabunmi, will be available for the first 100 visitors to the Bayview Community Pathway table!
These community inspired artworks from Bayview artists have been commissioned with funding from Caltrans.
Our team will be tabling to share information, answer questions, and hear your feedback about the Bayview Community Pathway.
