Van Ness Avenue Construction Forecast: November 12 - November 21, 2018

The night shift for construction is scheduled between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. During this time, neighbors are advised to anticipate construction-related noise and vibrations as crews work diligently to complete necessary night work.

Tentative schedule:

In the next two weeks crews are scheduled to work on sewer and water main installation, sidewalk replacement, installing a joint utility trench, street light conduits, potholing for upcoming work and updating the emergency firefighting water system.

Monday through Friday, November 12 through November 16

  • Chestnut to Lombard Night work is also scheduled Wednesday and Thursday, between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. Disruptive noise is expected.
  • Lombard to Greenwich: Night work is scheduled Wednesday and Thursday, between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. Disruptive noise is expected.
  • Filbert to Union
  • Vallejo to Broadway
  • Pacific to Jackson
  • Jackson to Washington (Monday and Tuesday only) *Intensive noise and vibration expected
  • Washington to Clay (Wednesday to Friday only) *Intensive noise and vibration expected. Night work is also scheduled Friday, November 16, between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. Intensive noise is expected.
  • Clay to Sacramento: Night work is scheduled Tuesday through Friday, between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. Intensive noise and vibration is expected.
  • Sacramento to California: Night work is scheduled Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. Intensive noise and vibration is expected.
  • California to Pine: Night work is scheduled Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. Intensive noise and vibration is expected.
  • Pine to Bush: Night work is scheduled Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. Intensive noise and vibration is expected.
  • Bush to Sutter: Night work is scheduled Friday, November 16, between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. Intensive noise is expected.
