Westbound Ocean Avenue between San Jose and Geneva will be closed to vehicular traffic for pavement work on Sunday, December 18 starting at 10am. Muni routes 29-Sunset and 49-Van ness/Mission will be rerouted. Details below:
TRAFFIC IMPACTS:
Vehicles heading westbound on Ocean Avenue will be detoured to westbound Geneva Avenue via San Jose Avenue.
Please allow additional time if driving through this area.
TRANSIT IMPACTS:
Muni routes 29-Sunset and 49-Van ness/Mission will be rerouted to accommodate the road closure:

There will be signs and ambassador support to assist our Muni customers, in addition to staff helping to direct traffic through the day.
Please note that closures to Ocean Avenue in the Eastbound direction are still in effect and currently anticipated to last until December 24, weather permitting.
