TO: San Francisco Taxi Drivers
On Friday, May 1 a protest is planned at the International Terminal. All commercial ground transportation, including taxis, will be redirected to the Domestic terminals starting at 11am until the protest concludes, possibly as late as 5pm. Customers will be directed to the Domestic terminals for Taxi pickups, and taxi drivers are asked to drop off all customers at the Domestic curbside. Airport staff will be available inside the terminals to help guide customers. The TaxiVQ will operate as normal and taxis called off the list should proceed to the domestic garage hold lot as usual. If heavy traffic at the airport entrance delays your arrival to the domestic garage, Curbside staff will override a missed entry if reasonable based on current traffic conditions.
By planning these adjustments in advance, SFO will better be able to ensure smooth communication and clear instructions for customers seeking travelling to and from SFO. Thank you for your support as we keep everyone moving while respecting our community members’ right to freedom of speech.
