Raised Bikeway Demo On-Street Outreach Event: Tuesday, May 17, 8:30 - 10:30 a.m.
Market and 12th Streets
Nearby Muni Routes: 6, 7, 7R, 47, 49, F Market, Metro-Van Ness Station

Stop by tomorrow and give the SFMTA your feedback on the Market Street raised bikeway.

In late 2015, the SFMTA installed the city’s first raised bikeway on a two-block stretch of Market Street between 12th and Gough streets in the eastbound/downtown direction. Four designs are being tested with this pilot to evaluate elements such as the design of the curb and the height of the bikeway.

Can't make it? Let us know what you think by taking the raised bikeway survey.

In June 2016, the city will be breaking ground on the Masonic Avenue Streetscape Project. This community-initiated project will build a better, safer, and more attractive Masonic Avenue from Fell to Geary. After a multi-year public planning process, the project was approved in 2012 with improvements including a new public plaza, wider sidewalks, repaving, a new median, sewer and water upgrades, new trees, better lighting and raised bikeways.
