What a great day for transportation in San Francisco! Did you get to walk to work? Are you walking home? Maybe you joined the Stand Up for Transportation effort. If not, there's still time.

This year's Walk to Work Day included the opening of the Better Market Street Prototyping Festival. From April 9 - 11, pedestrians along Market Street will have the opportunity to experience and learn about ideas from "designers, artists and makers to build a more connected, beautiful San Francisco" in order to pull together all the various communities that straddle the grand boulevard.

Here's one example called Meet Wall

Market Street design installation with pedestrians walking past.

We had a great time sharing the value of adding just 15 minutes of walking to your commute. Hope you had a safe and happy Walk to Work Day!
