Transit Operator Appreciation Day

Mar
18
Friday, March 18, 2022 - 8:00am

March 18, is Transit Operator Appreciation Day, a day to recognize the men and women who serve the City of San Francisco as bus and rail operators. Too often, these public servants go unrecognized for their efforts to ensure we arrive safely and with all due speed to our destinations. The continued hard work of our Muni operators is essential in keeping our city moving throughout COVID-19 and now as we begin to re-open San Francisco.

Today is the official day to show your appreciation for the men and women who shuttle you to work, drop you off at the grocery store or get you home safely after an evening of revelry.

A simple smile or thank you goes a long way on Transit Operator Appreciation Day or any other day works as well!
