Community Connections, the two-day racial equity event series focused on skill building, networking, and increasing access to resources and opportunities for all City of San Francisco employees was held on Monday, October 23 and Thursday, October 26.  The two days had differing focuses with Monday's event primarily dedicated to active City and County of San Francisco employees looking to increase their knowledge on hiring and promotional opportunities, along with strategies to be competitive in the promotional pathways.  The Thursday event was both for working adults and San Francisco youth, looking ahead to either city employment or internship opportunities.  Participants could participate in Career Opportunities panels, Youth Opportunities and a Work/Life Balance panel.  The two differing events reached over 100 participants in this inaugural event, offering a glimpse into the future of City agencies improving themselves and offering opportunities to members of the community.
