Event Summary
The Veterans Day Parade will begin at 11 a.m. in the North Beach neighborhood. Parade formation will begin at 10 a.m. Streets will be closed and Muni will reroute around the event. Read below for more information.
Street Closures
The following streets will be closed at varying times:
From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.:
- North Point between Powell and The Embarcadero
From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.:
- The Embarcadero between North Point and Jefferson
- Jefferson between The Embarcadero and Hyde
- All streets north of Beach between Hyde and The Embarcadero
Parade Formation, 10 a.m.
- North Point between Powell and The Embarcadero
Parade Route, 11 a.m.
- The Embarcadero north of North Point
- Jefferson to Aquatic Park
Muni Service Changes
Some Muni routes will switchback--changing direction before reaching the end of the line--while others will reroute. Service will return to normal after streets are clear.
