Panel: Fast, Frequent, Reliable: How Muni improvements are driving customer satisfaction

In 2024, Muni received its highest satisfaction rating since the SFMTA began surveying riders more than 20 years ago. That’s because SFMTA’s efforts to make improvements to deliver Muni service that is “Fast, Frequent, Reliable, Clean and Safe” are paying off.

Its Muni Forward program is celebrating its 10-year anniversary that has transformed Muni into a faster, more reliable and safer system. More recent changes have included the adoption of headway management to deliver more consistent service. Fix-It! Weeks a few times annually address larger maintenance projects and fix things before they break. And our Customer Experience Roadmap is making efforts to delight customers throughout their journey.
