Philip Cranna

Mr. Cranna is the Enforcement and Legal Affairs Manager of Taxis and Mobility Services. In this capacity, he oversees the Taxi Investigators, who are the enforcement arm of the Division. Mr. Cranna develops and recommends regulations to the Board of Directors, monitors regulatory compliance, and conducts enforcement and discipline for violations. He also represents the SFMTA at all taxi related disciplinary hearings.

Prior to starting at the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency, Mr. Cranna worked as an attorney representing employers, insurance carriers and third party administrators defending workers’ compensation claims. During his tenure, he focused on litigating professional athlete claims in both the Bay Area and in Southern California.
