COVID-19 Communications for Taxis Notice 3.18.2020

Effective Date
Wednesday, March 18, 2020 - 9:00am

Greetings Color Scheme Managers,

This is Sarah Hellman, the new Regulated Mobility Permit Manager for the SFMTA Taxi Services. I am excited and am looking forward to working with you.

As you know, the San Francisco’s Department of Public Health recently issued recommendations to reduce the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) in the community, and we sent a flyer with guidance on this important matter last week. You have a very important role to play in helping to reduce risks to drivers and customers, and we want to know what precautions you’ve taken thus far. At the bottom of this message are questions for you to answer and  I’m setting up a weekly check-in meeting via Skype. The first Skype meeting will be held this Friday, March 13th from 8-8:30AM.  The check-in will be rapid.  Please be prepared to give your update concisely, providing information to the check-in questions included below. If you are unable to call in for this meeting, please notify me, and send your answers in writing prior to the meeting to Sarah.Hellman2@sfmta.com.

Following the meeting this Friday, the Skype meetings will be held once a week on Mondays 8-8:30AM.
