19th Avenue Repaving 2.22.2026
Please be advised that Southbound/Northbound 19th Avenue from Sloat Boulevard to Holloway Avenue will be repaved Friday, May 22 from 7 a.m. until Monday, May 25 at 10 a.m. Two lanes are scheduled to be fully closed with one lane open for public transit, emergency responders and local access.
Even though one lane will always remain open to traffic while repaving is underway, motorists are encouraged to use alternative routes. For additional information, please see the Caltrans website.
Daytime alternate route: Northbound Holloway Ave. to Sloat Blvd.
- Right on Junipero Serra Blvd.
- Left on Sloat Boulevard
Nightly southbound detour: 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
- Left on Sloat Boulevard
- Right on Junipero Serra Blvd.
Nightly northbound detour: 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
- Right on Junipero Serra Blvd.
