PUBLIC HEARING
FOR PROPOSED PARKING
AND LOADING CHANGES

Pursuant to SFMTA Order No. 6884 adopted May 14, 2025 the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency will hold a public hearing to solicit public input on the following proposed changes. Official testimonies can be submitted by email ccp@sfmta.com prior to the hearing.

1. Green Street between Leavenworth Street and Hyde Street – Shifting a Passenger
Loading Zone for Daylighting

Per State law AB413, 20 feet at the near side of the intersection must be free of vehicles
for visibility and this zone must be shifted to accommodate this daylighting.

This item was heard at the April hearing. A new location is being proposed, two meters
over and the days have been extended.

Passenger Loading Zone

Per the request of a restaurant and bar, this would provide space for customers to be
dropped off and picked up.

The sponsor of a Passenger Loading Zone requested the zone be moved closer to their
frontage and that it be a General Loading Zone for customer access.


5. Mason Street between Geary Street and Post Street – Removing a Dual-Use Zone
and Extending Passenger Loading Zone Hours

The sponsoring venue has requested that the existing loading regulations be adjusted to
better match their loading needs.


6. Mission Street between 6th Street and 7th Street – Establishing a Passenger Loading
Zone

future driveway curb cut.
 

9. Channel Street between Corrine Woods Way and 4th Street – Removing Blue Zone

Loading Zone

Per request from a dialysis clinic for patient access to load in and out of treatment.
 

12. Valencia Street between 22nd Street and 23rd Street – Establishing a General
Loading Zone

This proposal would provide a pick-up and drop-off zone for a dog groomer and dog
daycare.
 

13. 21st Street between Valencia Street and Lexington Street – Establishing
Commercial Loading and Short-Term Parking

safe loading for students.


15. Bryant Street between 22nd Street and 23rd Street - Changing Hours for an Existing
Passenger Loading Zone

Loading Zone

Per request from the San Francisco Department of Homelessness and Supportive

Per the request of a new dry – cleaning business, this would provide short-term parking for their customers.
