           Public Comments:  No comments received.

The three speed cushions on Kansas Street are a traffic calming measure
proposed based on speed surveys and resident complaints. The extended
angled parking is necessary to provide enough width for the cushion on
that block. Residents of all three blocks voted on the entire proposal,
which passed. The median island at the intersection of Kansas Street &
26th Street is being removed as it predates stop signs at the intersection,
so no longer provides a safety benefit. Currently, it is an on-going maintenance
issue and is directly in the accessible path of travel for pedestrians.
