Notice of Tree Removals on 16th Street

LOCATION: 16th Street between Church Street and Potrero Avenue
# OF TREES: Eighteen (18) trees
POSTING PERIOD (30 days): From: 10/18/2021  Through: 11/17/2021

As part of the 16th Street Improvement Project, Public Works and the SFMTA propose to remove 18 trees at the above location. Approximately 100 new trees are planned to planted along 16th Street from Church Street to Potrero Avenue.

Members of the public objecting to this action must protest in writing to Public Works and SFMTA. Protests must be made within the posting period or postmarked no later than last date of the posting period. Protests can be mailed or emailed to the following:

If the tree removal is protested within the posting period, a public hearing will be scheduled.

Replacement Tree(s): SFMTA to plant approx. 100 total trees along 16th Street from Church Street to Potrero Avenue.
