Public Hearing Notice: SFMTA Board of Directors Meeting, June 16, 2026

Notice is hereby given that the SFMTA Board of Directors intends to hold a public hearing on the following item and on other matters on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 beginning at 1:00pm. Additional information may be found on the meeting webpage.

• Proposed Legislation: Approving SFMTA’s citywide Safety Zone program, including a two-pronged approach of proactive capital infrastructure improvements and a new Community Corners two-year pilot registration program for sponsors to adopt and enhance daylight intersections with  planters and/or street murals in painted safety zones; amending Division II of the Transportation Code to establish the Community Corners Pilot Program; authorizing the Director of Transportation to implement the Community Corners Pilot Program and impose registration conditions and design requirements; and establishing a registration fee of $50 for the Community Corners Pilot Program.
