Dear Taxi Industry,
Following President Biden’s declaration of Juneteenth as a federal holiday, Mayor London Breed declared by proclamation that Juneteenth will be a recognized legal holiday for all City employees. In honor of Juneteenth National Independence Day, commemorating the emancipation of enslaved African Americans, the Taxi Customer Service window will be closed Friday, June 18, 2021. We will resume services on Monday, June 21, 2021. Reminder: due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Taxi Customer Service window is open by appointment only.
