Text Alerts from SFO

TO: San Francisco Taxi Drivers

Occasionally SFO will experience a taxi shortage which cannot be met from the waitlist, or a system outage impacting the TaxiVQ. Moving forward these major issues will be sent out as a text and email alert. This will be sent to the phone number and/or email you have on file with us. Notifications will be rare and only used for serious time-sensitive events. Non-urgent information will continue to be communicated by Notices such as this one.

An initial notification will be sent on Monday, March 11. You must reply to this first message or you will not receive any additional notifications. If you do not receive the message, please call our office at 650-821-2700 to update your contact information with us.

The Telegram group will be discontinued on March 18, 2024. Shortage information will be disseminated via text alerts, and late flight arrivals can be found by using the TaxiVQ app.
