Deanna Desedas is the Public Outreach and Engagement Manager responsible for managing community outreach staff within the Communications Division. Deanna oversees the outreach and engagement for major capital construction and neighborhood-focused projects conducted by the Agency. Deanna is the lead for the Agency's focus on redefining its approach and structure for public outreach and engagement. She also functions as a small business liaison and focuses on building relationships with this important segment of the San Francisco community. Prior to joining the SFMTA, she worked with Clear Channel Communications for a decade, overseeing marketing and advertising for major clients on both a local and regional level. Her primary focus throughout her career has been on developing relationships and building trust with key stakeholders, communities, and merchants.
