San Francisco--The City of San Francisco will celebrate the Golden State Valkyries' WNBA Championship with a parade along The Embarcadero on Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2026.
The parade will begin at noon at the Ferry Building and travel south along The Embarcadero, ending at Oracle Park at 2nd and King streets. The parade is expected to conclude by approximately 3 p.m., however, residual traffic impacts and transit delays may continue into the afternoon while crowds disperse, and regular street operations are restored. The following street closures will be required from 12:01 a.m. until 4 p.m., Wednesday:
- Eastbound King Street/Northbound The Embarcadero between 3rd and King streets and Broadway and The Embarcadero
- Market Street between Drumm and Steuart streets
- Steuart Street between Market Street and southerly terminus
- Spear Street between Market Street and southerly terminus
The following street closures will be required from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m., Wednesday
- Southbound The Embarcadero/Westbound King Street between Broadway and The Embarcadero and 3rd and King streets
- Washington Street between Drumm Street and The Embarcadero
- Mission between Main Street and The Embarcadero
- Howard Street between Main Street and The Embarcadero
- Folsom Street between Main Street and The Embarcadero
- Harrison Street between Main Street and The Embarcadero
- Bryant Street between Main Street and The Embarcadero
- Townsend Street between 3rd Street and The Embarcadero
- Second Street between Brannan and King streets
- Brannan Street between 2nd Street and The Embarcadero
- (Local access will be maintained to Delancey Street
To accommodate the parade and related street closures, Muni service will be adjusted as follows:
- N Judah train service to 4th and King streets will end at Embarcadero Station from 9:30 a.m. to the end of parade. During this time, service between Market Street and Caltrain will be available on the T Third via Powell/Union Square Station and the 15 Bayview Hunters Point Express will be rerouted onto 2nd Street
- F Market & Wharves streetcar service will be replaced by buses all day, and will be rerouted from start of service to 3 p.m.
The following Muni routes will be affected: F Market & Wharves; N Judah; 1X California Express; 2 Sutter; 9 San Bruno; 9R San Buno Rapid; 12 Folsom-Pacific; 14 Mission; 14R Mission Rapid; 15 Bayview Hunters Point Express; 30X Marina Express; K Ingleside AM Bus.
