Overnight Maintenance Along the T Third
SFMTA is developing an ongoing maintenance program for the T Third line to build on the work completed during the Fix It! weekends. The program will establish a regular schedule for inspecting, cleaning, and maintaining platforms and shelters, gates, rail infrastructure, and other passenger amenities to help keep the corridor in a state of good repair and address maintenance needs before they become larger issues.
Overnight maintenance work began in September 2026 and will continue through November. Work is scheduled between midnight and 5 a.m. to minimize impacts on riders and the surrounding community.
Shelter roof work has been completed in one direction at Evans, Revere/Shafter, Le Conte and Sunnydale. Additional work at Hudson, Sunnydale and Kirkwood will be scheduled in early November.
Remaining work is scheduled as follows:
• Evans NB: September 29
• Carroll SB: October 6
• Carroll NB: October 13
• Williams NB: October 20
• Williams SB: October 27
• Gilman NB: November 3
• Gilman SB: November 10
• Arleta NB: November 17

Crews will perform routine maintenance and cleaning as part of SFMTA’s ongoing efforts to keep Muni facilities clean, safe and in good condition.
