6th Street Pedestrian Safety Project - February 2020
Thanks for your interest in the 6th Street Pedestrian Safety Project. As we mentioned in our last update, the construction phase will begin no sooner than the end of 2020. We will make sure to provide at least two to three months of lead time before we finalize the start date.
The SFMTA and the Office of Economic and Workforce Development are committed to supporting businesses throughout the duration of the project, both before, during and after construction.
Below (and linked here) you will find a resource guide drafted for those who will be affected by work along the street.
Please note that the Small Business Development Center is also available to any small business, regardless of those affected by constructed. To learn more visit sfsbdc.org or schedule an appointment by calling (415) 937-7232.
Know someone else who would like to hear about this project? If so, please forward our e-mail so they can sign up for future news.
We provide regular project updates on our website, which includes past monthly e-mail updates, to ensure interested members of the public can easily get up-to-speed on the project status.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out to SFMTA with any questions, concerns, or recommendations on how the project team can move forward in a way that best supports the interests of the local community and the city of San Francisco generally.
Thanks for reading and looking forward to getting in touch with you again next month.
