6th Street Pedestrian Safety Project - May 2020 Update

Thanks for your interest in the 6th Street Pedestrian Safety Project.

During this public health emergency related to COVID-19, the SFMTA is making important changes to key agency operations. Although there is a shelter-in-place order, we are continuing work on the construction design and mitigation phases for the 6th Street project to ensure that we minimize disruption as much as possible.

The 6th Street project team will continue to be available throughout this time. For project-related questions, please contact Shayda.Haghgoo@sfmta.com.

Support for Small Businesses

The SFMTA brings your customers to you on Muni, keeps the streets moving and manages the curb space. We know small businesses have many questions right now and we’re here to help you find resources offered by the City and County of San Francisco.

Where do I find information on Small Business Loans and Grants?

Can I be evicted from my commercial property during the Shelter in Place order?

How do I safely get back to business in the “new normal?”

More information about these and opportunities such as deferring business taxes and licensing fees, accessing free COVID-19 testing for essential employees and resources for self-employed individuals can be found at oewd.org/covid19

Thank you for your support and your patience.
