April 2017 Project Update

The Magellan Avenue speed humps between Dorantes and Montalvo will be in the next batch of speed humps built. The rains have slowed Public Works construction after the locations were marked on Magellan, but the humps are on their way now that dry weather seems to have returned to the Bay Area!

Balloting for remainder of the speed humps and cushions will begin later this month, so please expect to see these letters in your mailbox within the next few weeks.

The residents of 8th Avenue between Lawton and Moraga again asked for speed humps and speed cushions were recently approved for that block. That location will be balloted with the rest of the remaining humps and cushions.

We apologize for the wet weather delays, but we are working to complete the Dewey Traffic Calming Plan this calendar year.

As always, please reach out to Nick Carr at nick.carr@sfmta.com if you have any questions.
